Hypnotherapy
What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnosis and its uses in the practice of hypnotherapy is rapidly emerging among counselors, nurses and M.D’s. Hypnosis is a method used to alter, amend, and replace fixed ideas and beliefs that the client wants to change. It is a way of communicating between your conscious and subconscious mind. 12% of your mind is the conscious, while 88% is the subconscious. The subconscious is where all of our habits and behavior patterns are stored. Therefore, in order to change a behavior pattern, the subconscious must be accessed. Hypnotherapy is the most efficient way to do so. Hypnosis is a heightened state of awareness meaning you are in complete control and completely aware at all times. By using a personalized method of relaxation, you are able to tap into the subconscious and transform fixed ideas, habits, and beliefs into more positive ones.
Weight Loss
Hypnosis is not done through dieting. It is establishing a different and more positive behavior for the way you look at food. You will find out the reasons why you use food as a mood alter and change those behaviors permanently and comfortably.
Smoking
Procedures such as pills, chewing gums, and patches are designed to help build up the personal power to resist or overcome the addiction. They have been shown to work only 3% of the time. Hypnotherapy does not build will power. Rather, it is designed to eliminate the desire comfortably and permanently. Instead of giving up something that a person enjoys, (a sacrifice), you will be getting rid of something that isn’t wanted.
