Psychotherapy

Holistic Care Approach offers phychological assessments and integral psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults. Integral psychotherapy recognizes that people go through many developmental stages on their way to maturity. Childhood, adolescence, and adulthood can all be divided into sub-stages, and it now possible to get a very clear picture of which sub-stages are involved when normal development is not taking place.

Integral psychotherapy also recognizes that development takes place along many separate lines. The more important of these lines include intellectual, emotional, interpersonal, and spiritual development.

Some of the services provided are:

  • Short and long term individual psychotherapy for patients wanting help with depression, anxiety, stress managment, identity issues, and grief.
  • Meditation training and assistance in developing an integral spiritual practice.
  • Marital therapy for couples needing help with empathy, communication and conflict resolution.
  • Group therapy for men and women wanting to make lasting changes in their interpersonal skills.
  • Individual and family therapy for children and adolescents with problems such as: conflicts with peers or family memebers, academic difficulties, anxiety, depression.
  • Psychological testing and assessment for clarification, in-depth understanding, and recommendations regarding psychological problems and or issues.
  • Consultation to agencies and individuals on a variety of phychological issues.

Psychotherapy is a powerful, time-honored and proven process of helping to heal and integrate the mind, heart, and soul. It is the practice of talking things through with an experienced, trusted professional in the privacy of a confidential relationship. Psychotherapy is based on the science of psychology as well as the art of understanding through empathic listening and effective communication.
